Replace an Exercise in Your Workout

Want to swap out an exercise in your session? Here's how

Even though we don't encourage disagreeing with our AI (it may haunt you at night 😂), there might be a bunch of reasons why you'd need to replace a suggested exercise.
Maybe the equipment is being used by someone else, the machine is out of order or you simply want to do something different.

If any of these apply, on the workout screen:

  • Tap the 3 dots next to the exercise you want to replace and select "Replace"

You then have 3 options on how to replace it:

  • Choose from the list of recommended exercises.

  • Browse through the whole database by muscle or category.

  • Type the name of the exercise you're looking for.

💪🏽 Gravl Tip:

If you'd like to not just replace an exercise, but also not get it in your workouts again, simply tap "Replace and don't recommend" instead of "Replace". You might find the feature useful in case of pain or injury.
If you change your mind later on, you can always find removed exercises in the Search tab (in every category or muscle group) and add them back to your recommendations.
